JOSEPH MOHMED

Joseph Mohmed is an audio producer, composer and percussionist based in Oklahoma City. He is a member of the country rock band “Compost Adjacent” in which he plays hand drums and various other percussion instruments as well as produces their recorded tracks. His solo projects experiment with incorporating elements of classical and electronic music, where he draws inspiration from a wide range of musical artists and personal experiences.

Liz dueck

Liz Dueck is a Nature Artist, Art Educator, Trail Guide, and the co-curator of “Along the Cimarron”. She primarily works in oil painting, charcoal and natural materials. Her creative practices are all based on exploration and connection. Along with displaying her work in galleries and curating exhibitions, she regularly leads Art Hikes in the Tulsa and Sand Springs area. Dueck’s passion lies in interchangeably connecting art, nature and people together.

Dueck graduated with a BFA in Studio Art, a Teaching Certification in Art and a minor in Art History from Oklahoma State University in 2017. She worked for OSU's Art Department in her time there as a student as well as upon graduation as the Education Coordinator of the Prairie Arts Center. She now teaches art at the Tulsa Boys’ Home, volunteers as a Trail Guide at the Keystone Ancient Forest leading monthly Art Hikes and resides in the forests of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. 

kayla anley

Kayla Anley is an Oklahoma-based artist whose work explores the interconnectedness of the natural world and humanity. Drawing inspiration from native Oklahoma wildlife and plant life, Anley uses charcoal and graphite on paper to create art that celebrates the wisdom of the Earth's true garden tenders. Her work serves as a call to action, highlighting the urgent need for environmental conservation and the preservation of Earth's delicate balance.

James ratterree

James Ratterree is a self-taught artist and co-curator of “Along the Cimarron”. He creates work inspired by exploration in Oklahoma making nature installations, wood & metal sculpture, as well as photography.

He and Liz have built large scale interactive nature based art pieces that have been displayed in various galleries in Tulsa and Stillwater, Oklahoma.

rachel rector

Rachel Rector is a fine art film photographer whose work utilizes experimental film, cameraless photography, and historical printmaking techniques to evoke the ethereal, daydream quality of a nostalgic moment in nature. She often adds poetry, collage, and textile elements to her hand-printed photographs to convey the sentiment of the natural space. Her images have been published in Polaroid, Huffington Post, Lenscratch, The Hand, Fault Magazine and displayed in galleries throughout the U.S. Rachel has developed educational workshops believing that teaching 18th century processes like cyanotypes and anthotypes captivate students' senses and encourages them to become more engaged with their environment. She is currently enjoying living in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
